Mollie McClelland, B.S. Ed., RDH
Mollie has enjoyed being active in the dental field since 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Olivet Nazarene University, and in 2023, she graduated summa cum laude with her degree in Dental Hygiene from Chattanooga State. She is currently practicing clinical hygiene in East Brainerd as well as teaching dental certification courses with Dent-Ed Online.

Kim Young, RDH, BSDH
Kim began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant in West Virginia. After relocating to Chattanooga, she pursued dental hygiene and earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Chattanooga State Community College in 2002. Her professional journey then took her west, where she gained clinical experience in both Arizona and Montana beforereturning to the South in 2014.
Gracen Rogers, RDH
Gracen just began her third year as a Dental Hygienist. She enjoys building authentic relationships with her patients in order to provide the best care possible. When she isn’t saving smiles, you can find her hiking with her sweet pup Charlie, at the lake with friends, or traveling with her husband in search of the world’s best tacos.

Tami Zuidema, RDH
After 15 years in teaching and administrative roles within a local preschool program, Tami felt ready to take on a new challenge. In 2022, she returned to school at Chattanooga State and graduated summa cum laude with an associate degree in dental hygiene. She enjoys the unique and rewarding challenges that dental hygiene brings each day. Connecting with patients and teaching them how to care for their health is one of her greatest joys.
Kathryn Nelson, RDH
Kathryn works in a patient-centered practice and has a special passion for geriatric care. She brings that same compassion and perspective to her role on the CDHA board. When she’s not working or volunteering, you’ll likely find her camping with her husband, two young daughters, and their two little dogs.

Amber Litviak, RDH
Amber started out in the dental field as a dental assistant in 2020. After working for a year in pediatrics, she returned to Chatt State for dental hygiene, graduating in the class of 2023. Outside of work, she enjoys playing video games, going for walks, and hanging out with friends.
Shelley Bergholcs, RDH, BASDH, FADHA
Shelley serves as an Assistant Professor at Chattanooga State Dental Hygiene, where she has been a faculty member since 2021 and currently holds the position of First Year Clinic Coordinator. She teaches foundational and advanced hand and powered instrumentation, infection control, local anesthesia, and several other core dental hygiene subjects. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she chairs the Exposure Control Committee, serves as the First Year SADHA advisor, and acts as the Liaison to the Chattanooga Dental Hygienists' Association.
