What We Do

The Chattanooga Dental Hygienists’ Association is the local chapter of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. CDHA includes the following Counties: Bledsoe, Bradley, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, Meigs, McMinn, Polk, Rhea, Sequatchie, and Van Buren.

The Chattanooga Dental Hygienists' Association is managed by a dedicated group of volunteers. These volunteers give of their time and expertise to advance the Dental Hygiene profession in the Chattanooga Area. CDHA holds continuing education seminars from September through May of each year.

Each seminar offers a different topic and speaker. Meetings are free for ADHA members and $25.00 for non-ADHA members. These mini seminars are great for keeping up to date on information relating to dental hygiene, meeting your dental hygiene peers, and catching up with old friends. So check the calendar of events for the next CDHA meeting.

Our Mission

To improve the public's total health, the mission of the Association is to advance the art and science of dental hygiene by ensuring access to quality oral health care, increasing awareness of the cost-effective benefits of prevention, promoting the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure, practice, and research, and representing and promoting the interests of dental hygienists.

CDHA President

My Amazing Fellow Hygienists, 

I am thrilled to serve a second consecutive year as CDHA's President. I view the local chapter as the foundation of advocacy for the fabulous profession of dental hygiene.

Our goal in CDHA is to encourage and empower hygienists in our community and beyond in order to encourage them to be optimal in all facets their profession.

On behalf of all the CDHA officers, we are so glad to have you in our component (that's fancy ADHA talk for 'local organization')! Your membership is your voice and your voice is so important!  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any needs that we can assist you with.
